My Travel Schedule for Fall 2019

Every year there seems to be a season where I travel more than usual, and this year it starts today! Here’s a list of conferences (or cities) I’ll be visiting now through the end of the year. If you’re going to be around at the same time, let me know!

Aug. 12-16: Orlando, FL for Podcast Movement

Last year I went to Podcast Movement because it was in Philly and I could hop the train. I bought tickets to this year’s as soon as the went on sale. I thought it was an all-around fantastic conference and I hope to get even more out of it this year.

As an aside, I’ll be spending Thursday evening at Disney World, previewing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The stars truly aligned!

Aug. 17: Lehigh Valley, PA for WordCamp Lehigh Valley

This is a WordCamp I never miss – it’s fun, small, and there are always great people in attendance. This year I’m speaking about podcasting with WordPress!

Sept 14th: NYC for WordCamp NYC

I’m SO excited to be speaking at WordCamp NYC for the first time. Keeping with the theme, I’m speaking about Podcasting! Be sure to come say hi if you’ll be there.

Sept 30 – Oct 4: Mexico for CaboPress

CaboPress is an event I look forward to every year, and not just because it’s at a beautiful resort in Mexico. And not just because it’s put on by a good friend….who enjoys cigars even more than I do…

No, I look forward to this because of the amazing people the come together to talk about their businesses. I’ve gotten clarity each year I’ve attended, and my business grew because of it. I expect this year will be no different.

Oct. 5-6: Philly for WordCamp Philly

I’m the lead organizer for WordCamp Philly this year so I’ll probably be running around like a mad man.

That said, you should totally come! It’s at a great venue and we have some fantastic talks and a panel you won’t want to miss.

Oct 12-14: Houston, TX for a Cigar Event

OK this one isn’t for “professional” purposes, per say. I’m getting together with some friends for this fantastic cigar festival.

Nov 1-3: St. Louis for WCUS

Another cold streak broken, I’m speaking at WCUS this year for the first time since 2015! I’m excited to be attending, and super stoked to see St. Louis. Too bad it’s just after baseball season!

I’m speaking about how to give your very own rock solid talk at a WordCamp.
